From Louise Hall: In the "Incomplete History" written by my father, he makes reference to some of his Grandfather's personal effects that he received shortly after WW II. One of the items is a locket which I have in my possession. The photo inside is indeed Fuller Chapman and in addition to the photo, the locket contained a lock of hair - sandy blonde with a slight curl. From Annie & Bill Stuart: The word in large letters was "MIZPAH" which is Hebrew. The writing at the top is "GEN XXX1 CH." Below the word "MIZPAH" the wording is "49 VR" A quick look at Genesis chapter 23 verse 49 shows:- "and the pillar Mizpah, for he said, "The LORD watch between you and me, when we are absent one from the other." The word Mizpah means watch tower or lookout. |
